At Hinterland Baptist, you’re always welcome. We’re a church family that values community, faith, and doing life together. Join us this Sunday!
This Father’s Day, we explore a strength that doesn’t need to dominate a room, but creates safety, steadiness and space for others to flourish.
This Father’s Day we are looking at different kinds of strength. Physical ability, authority, experience and presence are all strengths that can change the emotional temperature of a room. Strength can make others brace themselves, or it can help them breathe.
In the garden, Jesus is surrounded by controlling leaders, armed soldiers, a selfish betrayer, a reactionary and His friends disappeared. He was also the most dangerous man present. Jesus was calm, not reactive. He was truthful, not cruel. He wasn’t governed by fear. He was a peacemaker.
The church isn’t just a building. We are a community of believers who seek to love God, impact our community and share the Gospel of Christ with a hurting world.
Our new Finding Peace: Suffering Well Companion Guide is designed to help you make sense of suffering through the journey of Job. It draws out key truths from the series and includes links to each accompanying podcast episode, so you can revisit and reflect at your own pace.
Whether you’re in the middle of a difficult season, or walking alongside someone who is, we pray this guide helps you find solid ground again and points you back to the peace God offers in the midst of suffering.
Our Family Ministry exists to team up with parents to lead children, from babies and toddlers through to young teens, into an authentic, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
